Wow these last 4 weeks have been hectic!! 

The camp was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone who made it work! The kids were great fun and I think a good time was had by all. 

Malou will be uploading photos on our Facebook Page and on our Flickr account over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled! If you would like to purchase high resolution copies of any of the photos, or a CD of the whole camp (including videos), just email us and you can get in touch with Malou.

We hope this will be a regular vacation event and Gina will be continuing the camp next week so give her a call on 262 4900.

Barbados Wildlife Reserve Field Trip

Summer Camp Week 1

We had a GREAT first week with the kids; they all got along fabulously despite the difference in ages and we managed to keep them busy every single day! Swimming, tie-dye, clay, paper mache and painting were some of the activities, which were based on the theme of the day such as "Nationality Day". We each represented a different country and dressed in the colours of the nation's flag, sharing cool information on the country and making a globe showing the locations. Our first field trip was a day at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve (stay tuned for more photos!) and the kids LOVED all of the animals we saw; peacocks, tortoises, snakes, caymans and lots of Barbados Green monkeys!

Age Edit

We have decided to extend the camp age to 2-10 years to accomodate more people - spread the word! :) Exceptions will also be made for 10 year olds if the parents think that they will benefit from the camp :)

Camp specials

Sign up & pay by Monday 19th June 2011 and get an early payment discount of $45 per day. Also, incentives for recommending the camp available. Get four other kids to signed up and get two days of camp free!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our official summer camp site! Here you'll find info on our camp, our daily activities and all other updates.

Gina and Malou both have years of experience with children and are super excited to do this camp. 


Gina Issa is in her final year of an undergraduate in Law and has been working with children and babysitting since the age of 12. She has a huge family and loves entertaining children. She may be small but don't let her size fool you, Gina is as responsible as they come and in full control of any situation.

Malou Morgan was Senior Sailing instructor for both the Barbados Sailing Association and the Barbados Optimist and Dinghy Association and ran their Christmas, Easter and Summer sailing camps at the Barbados Yacht Club for 6 years.  She has an Emergency First Response First Aid and CPR qualification and has nannied and babysat for many different families and friends over the years.

When trying to think of a theme for our summer camp, we decided that we wanted to combine our creativity with a little sense of adventure. There are so many interesting places in Barbados and we will be doing field trips with the children to The Wild Life Reserve, Harrison's Cave and different attractions.  We will also be having swimming in pool for those children who can.

The camp will be taking place at a private residence in South Ridge,in a spacious, shaded garden with a large field for sports and a pool for swimming. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are provided. 

While the general age group for the camp is 4-7 years old, we will be making exceptions for slightly younger and older children. It is really up to the parents to decide whether their child will enjoy the activities. So once you approve, so do we!

Malou has a keen interest in photography and will be taking photos of the kids throughout the camp. A CD will be available for purchase at the end of camp.

The camp will take place from Monday July 4th - Friday July 22nd.

Prices are quoted on a daily rate and special packages can be arranged for siblings. Early payment discounts are also available, and weekly specials will be posted. Also, we do have incentives for those parents who can get other parents to sign their kids up for camp.
